Here are the terms and conditions for COSY COVER (Version 1.0):
Commencing your cover:
Your contract with Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited begins on the day you purchase Cosy Cover.
One annual boiler service and 10% discount on boiler repairs will be provided for the duration of the 12-month contract.
You must notify Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited of any existing issues with your home, including boiler, flue, controls, gas central heating system, radiators, and pipework. Failure to do so may result in your home not being covered or your service not being completed.
Length of contract:
The initial contract for home cover is for 12 months.
At the end of the initial contract, your policy is set to auto-renew for an additional 12 months unless you request cancellation by phone or email: cosycover@holdcroftheating.com
Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited will contact you by email 28 days before your policy expires to confirm the renewal amount. They reserve the right to refuse renewal and will inform you in advance if they choose to do so.
Payments:
Payments are made on a monthly basis by direct debit, and all prices include taxes.
If you miss any payments, you must pay the outstanding balance before Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited completes your annual service or fixes issues with your heating system.
Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited reserves the right to change the price of your contract after the initial 12-month period and will inform you in writing of any price changes.
Cancellation of your contract:
During the cooling-off period of 14 days after purchasing Cosy Cover, you can cancel and receive a full refund of payments made, excluding any costs already incurred by the company.
If you cancel within the cooling-off period but have already had a service completed, you will be charged a fee, relative to your location, for the service.
To cancel before the end of your 12-month contract, you must inform Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited by phone and pay the remaining balance. Cancelling your direct debit does not automatically cancel your contract.
Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited may end the agreement if provided information is false or incorrect, your system is unsuitable, payment cannot be collected, threatening or abusive behaviour is exhibited, or there have been 3 or more unsuccessful attempts to enter your property.
Upgrading the plan midway through the contract is allowed, but downgrading counts as a cancellation request.
Our cover plans:

Homeowner plans are suitable for owner-occupied properties, while Landlord cover plans are suitable for tenanted properties. It is your responsibility to choose the correct plan.
Your personal information:
Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited will use your personal information in accordance with their privacy policy, which can be found on their website.
You must inform Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited of any changes to your contact details. Failure to do so may result in delayed or missed services.
Contacting you:
By purchasing cover with Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited, you agree to receive email and telephone communications regarding your policy. You can opt out or unsubscribe at any time.
Home visits:
An initial remote inspection may be required to determine if your system is fit for purpose.
If your existing boiler, controls, or components are not on the approved list or have existing faults, your plan may be cancelled or additional work may be required.
Remote inspections require submitting requested photos. Failure to provide them may lead to plan cancellation.
Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited will contact you to arrange an appointment for the in-person inspection and first boiler service. It is your responsibility to provide access to your property at the agreed time.
If you fail to provide access or if the property is unoccupied without prior notice, Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited reserves the right to charge a missed appointment fee or cancel your plan.
Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited will carry out subsequent boiler services annually as part of your plan. You will be notified in advance to schedule these appointments.
Repairs and call-outs:
If you experience a breakdown or fault with your heating system, you must contact Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited to arrange for an engineer visit.
Our working hours are between 08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday. We will endeavour to attend any boiler breakdowns within 24 hours, wherever possible.
Repairs to your boiler and covered components will be carried out during the engineer visit, subject to the terms and conditions of your plan.
Cosy Cover is not an all-inclusive contract and you will be charged a call-out fee for any breakdown visits. You will however receive a 10% discount on all call-out charges and repair quotations.
Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited will not be responsible for any costs related to repairs or replacements carried out by third parties without prior authorisation.
Exclusions:
Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited’s COSY COVER plans have certain exclusions, such as system upgrades, system modifications, and repairs or replacements to resolve sludge, lime scale, or other build-up.
Damage caused by freezing, fire, flood, or other external factors beyond Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited control may not be covered.
Boilers installed in the loft spaces must have a fixed loft ladder, loft boarding, and adequate lighting. Failure to provide these may result in your appliance not being serviced or repaired and you may still be charged for the visit.
To maintain the quality and reliability of our services, we exclusively purchase parts and materials from our approved suppliers. We cannot accommodate the installation or warranty of customer-supplied parts or materials.

Complaints and disputes:
If you have a complaint or dispute regarding your COSY COVER, you should contact Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited customer service to discuss the matter.
Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited will aim to resolve complaints promptly and fairly, in line with their internal complaints handling procedures.
Limitation of liability:
Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited liability is limited to the terms and conditions of your COSY COVER plan.
Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited will not be liable for the cost of access equipment required for boiler maintenance. Customers are responsible for providing safe and suitable access to their boiler. Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited will make reasonable efforts to perform services but does not cover the expenses of scaffolding, ladders, or specialised equipment.
Holdcroft Heating and Gas Fitting Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the provision or failure to provide cover.
Governing law:
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
